So, my question is: Will I still be able to play XBox 360 games in HD format? Will my TV scale down 720 games to 480, allowing me to play the games in HD 480 format?

XBox 360 HDTV compatibility question
I have a 51-inch widescreen Sony HDTV. The instruction manual for the TV says that it supports 480. It also says that it doesn't support native 720.
So, my question is: Will I still be able to play XBox 360 games in HD format? Will my TV scale down 720 games to 480, allowing me to play the games in HD 480 format?Tags: None -

Re: XBox 360 HDTV compatibility question
I also have a question. I don't have a HDTV. I will not ever get HD Programming. My questions is, With either the PS3 or the XBOX360 If I buy a HD READY TV, Will The systems work in bringing a HD Image in gaming. Or do I need a HDTV built-in, or a extra HD BOX??????Comment
