How many people waited in line for a long time but the systems got sold out before you got one?? Just curious. I can just imagine the feeling of waiting in line for 6 hrs and getting shut out. Like that one dude at walmart. They had a Raffle. That's BS... People got there early and still may haven't gotten a system

I stood in line for 12 hours.. only to get a core XBoX the Target I chose only got 6 prem and 6 core.

I camped at Sam's Club... they said they either had 16 or 20 due to something about a fax business order or something... so since I was number 17.. I figured that I could maybe get one...

I figure 12 hours later, maybe I was totally wrong :y4:

Man, this launch is nuts. I was going to go to a Best Buy midnight launch "early" around 6 PM. I found out from a co-worker that the line was closed by 3:30. Luckily, I have my TRU pre-order. Picking that up in a bit.

On the news last night they showed about 50 people outside the Best Buy near me. They had a projector and Xbox running on battery power and playing games that were displayed on the side of the wall. It was freezing out.

The Walmart near me allowed customers to sit inside and wait. There was a lineup of people who said they were waiting since noon yesterday.

Best Buy since 6 pm last night. Me and my bud were #'s 5 and 6 in line. Just got back, a long cold night to say the least

I was 5 of 14 available units at a Walmart.

Cool thing about the Walmart were I was, the manager let us stay inside the stores front entry way which was enclosed. He locked us up inside and gave us chairs and a table. We were chillin watching dave chapelle until they started selling the units at 1am.

Man it was kinda funny and sad at the same time to see people walk up to the door all night looking for 360's and being told it was sold out. The looks on some of their faces.

I wish MS did not handle their launch like this. It really sux.

The funny thing was that at the Target I waited at, where they had a whole 12 units. It rained and was cold all night long.. we were surprised by how few people had come after we had the 12th person at 11:30 pm.

They passed out tickets at 6 a.m. to allow us to at least sit in our cars for the remaining 2 hours.

At 7:30 until the time I left the store with my 360 people were coming from out of nowhere and running to the back of the store, to only find out they were sold out.

Did folks actually think they would be able to get one arriving at any store at only the opening of the store.

There was a fight at the Elkton, MD Walmart, forcing them to call off the launch, and hand out vouchers for people to pick the system up today.

Idiots.
