Reports of systems crashing, doing odd stuff.
A guy at my job posted this because some of us, including myself have one now.

Re: Reports of systems crashing, doing odd stuff.
I have had a couple weird occurrences, but nothing major.
When I first fired it up yesterday, it powered on fine, but nothing would display on my tv. It worked fine after that, but then today when I got home, I turned it on and it did it again. Powers on, I turn the controller on but it won't sync, and nothing on screen. I had to turn it off, then back on and it worked fine.
Also, it turned itself off once yesterday when I was in the middle of trying to transfer my Live account. Thank god that one hasn't happened again.Comment

Re: Reports of systems crashing, doing odd stuff.
Here's another log to throw on the fire. This just happened....
I am sitting here trying to download the stupid NBA Live demo (still), not even touching my controller, and it starts rumbling. And will not stop. I had to hold the Xbox button to bring up the shutdown menu, turn the controller off, and then back on.
No big deal, though, to me at least. I expect little things like this to happen. It's interesting to hear what else is going on with everyone's console, though.Comment

However people that have already contacted M$ said 3-4 weeks they will get a new system from them. Bummer being without a system that long but you might as well take the chance because the experience is awesome, and at worse case scenerio you can return it and get your money back.
But seeing your at second shipment, most bugs should be fixed by than. If the after X-Mas shipment rumor is true.Comment

One day after the launch of Microsoft's next generation video game console, Xbox 360, some gamers are complaing that the unit does work. (The Associated Press)
It's good that it works isn't it? It also says that MS has plenty of stock to replace bad units. That is good news.Originally posted by billmaticRadman is more like the ******** homeless man's version of Okur.Comment

I liked this quote:
"O'Donnell added that Microsoft is prepared for the calls they've gotten and have plenty of stock to replace any units that need replacing."
They have plenty in stock to REPLACE broken units, but don't have enough to ship out to be sold?Comment
