Yes, it's flat out awesome-I just wished the online play would be a lot more consistent. I played a great team deathmatch minutes ago, but too many times lag forces me and everybody else out of a match. On a positive note the lag usually occurs at the very beginning of the match. As much as I liked Halo and preferred it to war online shooters like Rainbow 6 and Castle Wolfenstein, I'd take COD2 over any of them. Of course I'm not adverse to picking up PDZ, but am skeptical because of the aiming problems.

I only own COD2 but if possible, I'd get both. I'm working on getting PDZ right now.

Online has no lobby system and has serious lag problems when people start leaving the game. It's a great offline game, but until they fix the problems, it's dreadful online. Out of the 30 or so games I've tried to play of COD2, only about 5 have been played to completion of the match. I do love the single player though. It's very hectic.

1-Ability to create a custom host room (# people/match type/map selection) P@P or host server.

2-Ability to invite friends into your host lobby

3-Ability to remove people from your host lobby

4-When match ends, go back to host lobby -NOT main screen.

These should be basic requirements for any LIVE implementation in a multiplayer game for that game to be certified LIVE compatible.
                Pretty much...

I guess I'm goin with PDZ since the online seems like it would be better on it.

                    Re: PDZ or COD2?

For single player, I highly recommend COD2. The multiplayer aspect of PDZ is supposed to be better, but I haven't actually gotten online yet, so I can't confirm it. But the single player campaign for COD2 is about as good as it gets.

I have both and I would recommend COD2.

Don't believe so, although I haven't looked personally. I know PDZ has co-op, but I don't recall seeing an option for it on COD2.

Call of Duty 2 is the single greatest launch game for the 360. Period.

I've tried giving Perfect Dark Zero the benefit of the doubt...but after playing through and completing the hailstorm of action that IS Call of Duty...Perfect Dark just lacks the "Wow" factor with me. But to each their own.

On a side note..I haven't had a SINGLE issue with lag online with COD.

Yeah I have PDZ on eBay right now. I don't want to learn how to play a game to be mediocre. I don't have time.
