After playing both I like PDZ better. COD 2 does have lots of great action but I don't really like the old school aiming/guns and taking cover isn't as good as it is in PDZ.

COD is a blast online too...it's just that you have to play random people.Originally posted by Fresh TendrilsSo, PDZ is the better XBL game, while COD2 is the better single player game?
There is nothing like sitting in a burned out building with a sniper rifle...the snow swirling around you, you spot a group of nazis in the distance...
"Cack! Cack!" Two head shots...then you vanish.
Love it.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: PDZ or COD2?
No occurence of lag? That's amazing. I've had more lag with this game in a week than I did with 7 months of Halo. I tried playing this morning and had one 15 minute team deathmatch out of 8 that wasn't interrupted by LAG.Originally posted by AuburnAlumniCall of Duty 2 is the single greatest launch game for the 360. Period.
I've tried giving Perfect Dark Zero the benefit of the doubt...but after playing through and completing the hailstorm of action that IS Call of Duty...Perfect Dark just lacks the "Wow" factor with me. But to each their own.
On a side note..I haven't had a SINGLE issue with lag online with COD.Comment

Hmmm...that's interesting. I basically suck at these games too, although I've had my moments. Isn't this a "twitch and shoot" game along the lines of Halo? How would you rate it with Halo? I like the fact that it has a split screen online mode.Originally posted by fishepaI've read about these problems as well, however I'm not having any. I suck at FPS too.Comment

Re: PDZ or COD2?
Well, I really never played Halo 2 online that much, I just never got into all the little kiddies whining and moaning. PDZ IMO is a slow paced game, more deliberate. Not along the lines of Quake 4 at all. It takes so many shots to kill someone in PDZ that many 1 on 1 battles can last 10-15 seconds. But by then someone else comes in and picks up both kills.Originally posted by JayBee74Hmmm...that's interesting. I basically suck at these games too, although I've had my moments. Re: PDZ or COD2?
Picked up the game. Plays a little like Golden Eye. Comparing the two-PDZ=Apples, COD2=Oranges. I don't think aiming is the problem, it just takes a few shots to down your opponent. The "head shot satisfation" factor is enough to keep me interested. I played an online deathmatch game that featured me against another human and an assorted number of robots (normal difficulty).I lost 14-3. I also played a team deathmatch OFFLINE game against my brother and won 22-16. It was a lot of fun. The bot difficulty was on normal and they were very tough, at least based on our skill level.Comment
