your just fine, that how I have mine, there both in a nice cool place.

I play mine in two spots. Have it set horizontally in both spots.

1. In my living room.


2. In my office/den

I have a pair of power cables and component TV connectors, and I just move the 360 to where I Am playing.

One TV is a 30" Sharp Aquos LCD, and the other is a 50" Samsung DLP.

After the PS2 fiasco I had, it's horizontal only for me.

well I moved my 360 back to the vertical, I was just playing COD2 for about an hour and I had my 360 horizontal and it got pretty hot, When I leave it vertical it never got that hot...Oh well I'm leaveing it vertical and vertical only for now on.

If you are worried about heat when it's horizontal why not glue some rubber feet on the bottom? I did this with the PS1 and it seemed to help.

I seen some nice setups.But i'm keeping mine horizontal to many problems with the PS2 being vertical.I would have to sometimes turn the PS2 upside down to read the disk.But that could be more of an issue with the drive than putting it vertical but any way i'm keeping it horizontal

This was my thinking also. Too many issues from vertical PS2's made me way too paranoid to do it with my 360.
