Both.....well IMO anyways, I haven't played alot of Forza but I just don't see how one could get much better than PG3 on the 360.Originally posted by Fresh TendrilsStreaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

The real question is who would want to play All-star baseball 2003?Originally posted by ParedYES!!!! Who needs next gen when I can play 5* titles such as these on my 360!!!

I mean, people don't really want to be able to play ESPN NFL 2k5, MVP Baseball 2005, NCAA Football 2006, and so on!

From what I understand about both franchises, Forza is stricly a SIM racer, where damage effects the performance of your car, etc. While PGR3 is a semi-SIM racer, not arcadey like Burnout, but the damage on your car doesn't effect the performance of your car, so its somewhere between the two. Great game nonetheless.Originally posted by SkyboxerAren't they 2 totally different racing games though? I mean as far as "what you do"?

Re: XBOX 360 Backwards Compatibility List - Patch 1

Anybody been able to download the BWC patches for any of the Splinter Cell games yet? Just wondering how they run. For some reason my 360 keeps telling me they're "not supported".

Some people are also saying Ninja Gaiden Black's patch was updated and it runs better now?Comment

FYI -- Jade Empire has worked flawlessly for me so far. The very first battle scene, which was a tutorial slowed down a bit, but after that it's been great.

Perhaps you want to update that on the frong page."Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment

Re: XBOX 360 Backwards Compatibility List - Patch 1

yea, Forza is more of a sim racing game, while PGR is more of an arcade racer.Originally posted by abates21From what I understand about both franchises, Forza is stricly a SIM racer, where damage effects the performance of your car, etc. While PGR3 is a semi-SIM racer, not arcadey like Burnout, but the damage on your car doesn't effect the performance of your car, so its somewhere between the two. You can do so much more in Forza, than in PGR 3. There are better/more types and styles of cars (except for Lambos and Maseratis which are only in PGR), you can tune and mod every car in the game (you cant tune or mod at all in PGR), the tracks are better imo, you can customize the appearance of your car (on PGR you cant even change the paint job after you have bought the car), there is a damage model on Forza that actually affects your cars performance, etc...etc...

The main things that PGR have going for it over Forza are: 1) it's excellent graphics, obviously, but Forza's graphics are solid. and 2) PGR has a great inside the cockpit view. However, those two things arent enough to move it past Forza in my book

PGR is more of a 360 showcase game for me. If someone comes over and wants to see 360 graphics, ill throw in PGR. Besides that, Forza is the racing game that i play the most.

also, Forza is better online imo. and if you are playing Forza online on a 360, you can play online against people on regular XBoxes.Last edited by ZB9; 12-09-2005, 01:18 PM.Comment
