Got it, and love it. The picture is great. I also have a 50" hdtv, but with a family have limited access to it, so to be able to play it on my 17' flat screen on my computer anytime I want makes this an incredible buy. Worth the $40. Get it, you'll enjoy it. Also, I just ran across a very strong review for this at teamxbox.com. Check it out.

It's a dell, not sure what model it doesn't say on it. It is probably over 4 or 5 years old and it works great. Give it a try, I can't say enough about it.

I use the VGA adapter as well. I switch my 360 from my regular TV to my LCD Monitor because the wife likes to watch TV. It works fantastic and it's also nice to be able to play games in HD because I can't on my regular TV.

            Great TeamXbox review here: http://hardware.teamxbox.com/reviews...D-AV-Cable/p1/

Where did you guys get one? I have not got a 360 yet, but I will want one of these when I do get it. I currently use a third party (Xvga) with my regular xbox on a 19 inch monitor and want to keep doing this since it is a cheap alternative to high def.

I got mine the week before the release of the 360 at my local Gamestop. They only got one in and I snagged it right out of the box.

I've got one and I'm using it on my OLD 21" CRT for when I go onto XBox Live.

For those that don't know, you actually set the screen resolution.
I've got my CRT at 1024 and the picture is great!

If you were forced to play your 360 on PC screen, you won't be complaining by any means. It's definitely a cheaper way to get HD gaming.

If you can't find one, you can order them from ebgames.com. I ordered my last night, and it shipped this morning.

I tried picking up a VGA cable at Best Buy (had a $10 off coupon), but they don't carry it. I'll probably order it online soon.

Fellas, I need some help with the vga connection cables. First off, I am AWFUL with electronics. I have The Dell™ E153FP 15'' Flat Panel LCD Color Monitor that came with my dell computer and it has a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. So basically, do I just plug my xbox 360 to the computer monitor and do the settings and everything should be alright correct? BUT the thing is, I was wondering if I could hook the red and white audio cables to my home stereo system instead of through the computer…so basically, I just want to use my lcd monitor just as a t.v.
Anyways, so could I assume that my lcd monitor will be the closest thing to gaming on an hdtv because my girlfriend pretty much claims that tv as hers and because I am a good boyrfriend (okay, I’m whipped!) I want another option close to hdtv because it looks UNREAL on hd, especially nba 2k6 I can see a huge difference. Fellas, a computer illiterate guy like myself need your help, cause I don’t want to drop money on something that will end up not working….losin’ money fast!!!!! Thanks for your help fellas.

I'm sure you can take the audio cables and plug them into a home theater system. The audio source doesn't have to be through your sound card and PC speaker setup.

in your guy's opinion, will the picture quality be better on an LCD monitor with the maximum resolution of 1024x768 pixels than a regular tv? i got spoiled with hdtv! so now i am wondering if the closest thing i can get to hdtv would be my LCD monitor or just to break up with my girlfriend? ha ha ha!!!! anyways, any input would be great fellas...just glad to know i can hook it up to a stereo system and not the computer.
