I just sent in the card. I didn't see a number to call (but I wasn't looking for one). I think if you send in the card tomorrow (tomorrow is the 10th day from launch I think) you should be fine. But I'm pretty sure they'd give you the warranty even if you missed it by a few days. They aren't going to turn down your 59 bucks.

I already filled my card out and I'm heading to the post office in the morning to send it out. It sounds like a very nice warranty.

I take it they try to fix the system first and if they can't they just replace it. I was going to get the Best Buy one, but everyone keeps on telling me to stay away from that.

Yeah, just give them a call and you can probably still get it.

got mine yesterday over the phone(1-800- 4 my xbox),all the stuff will be mailed to ya(your warranty info) the man also gave me an option to get just one year which is 29.95,i called cuz i was not to sure bout putting my CC# on that mail in thing that came with the 360 to get the coverage...it was easy took about 10 minutes...you get a ref# and they take care of it all if something goes wrong(2 years is 59.90+ state taxes= 63 somnething for me cuz ohio is greedy,make sure you have the serial # off the back of 360 when u call....

Do they really give you a hard time?

Does MS just tell you to send the system in for repairs and is that all they do? How do you go about getting the MS warranty?

I've bought many extended warranties thru Best Buy and returned things and never had one ounce of problem getting items replaced, even without having a receipt. My latest is my Logitech Wireless controller for PS2. I'm on my 3rd one now and without that extended warranty I'd be out of luck.

What was the problem with your 360? The reason i ask is I may be sending mine in, the package will be here tommorrow, My nba 2k6 won't read at all anymore. MS said send it in and guaranteed 3 day service. I am getting another copy of 2k6 to see if it is the disk or system, but I may send it in anyway just to be safe.

It sounds like the same thing I had. You might want to send it back to Microsoft

Did they tell you any specifics on the terms of the deal and how it works if anything happens to your 360?

2 year coverage,sort of bumper to bumper,if it were a car......internal,external,other than that he said" it covers it all ,and the certificate of coverage would be sent in the mail...what else is there to know? I sure the coverage cert. will explain it all,but when he says its all covered for 2 years,no worries on my end....

Sounds sweet. I was a bit worried before, but this is cool to hear. I love my 360 and it does run hot after a few hours worth of gaming so who knows what can happen within 2 years.

I agree its a good deal,it str8 from MS, so if it goes on the blink...off it goes,to be fixed and or a new one is on the way....
