as I have said before, all I know is what I've been told when questioning a sony rep. Also the blu-ray technology will be available sometime in march, and I can't see sony letting microsoft, as well as others, get a head start on sony's pride and joy.

thats the same thing that sony said about the ps2 consoles that were having laser problems. and we all know that was a lie, because sony later admitted that the problems were more significant than earlier stated. Microsoft will do the same once they get a handle on the situation and more products out for consumers to buy. Let's face it, microsoft was not ready to launch the 360.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: if anyone cares
I'm 100% sure it will be here before 2007. 80% sure it'll be here before July. I'm thinking about a May release (worldwide), or maybe a early April Japan release.
And if Final Fantasy XIII and Metal Gear Solid 4 make it as launch games I'm gettin this sh*t fa show. One thing I wonder though. Will these games utilize Blu Ray's disc space? Final Fantasy usually gives alot of hours of playtime, I wonder will they make the game any longer? Don't mean to stray off topic, but I'm just excited.Xbox 360 GamertagRAW 910

I am not here knocking microsoft nor the 360. I have a ps2, xbox, and gamecube.
I am just saying that I believe that there are more console problems then microsoft is saying. I mean, all you have to do is look at the forums here. There is a topic sticky for just solely xbox 360 problems.
And before you call me a fanboy of sony let me say this, I expect sony to have some problems as well with their launch consoles as well.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: if anyone cares
yes i do... look at the thread that i started "more 360 delays". It states that microsoft knew that they would run into shortages, but still decided to have stores take tons of pre-orders... that in my opinion is bad business.
you do realize that companies will not tell the whole truth to keep their reputation up don't you. Sony did it in 2000 and microsoft is doing it now.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

just because an EB game employee (my example) said that it was MS's fault does not make it true.
My understanding of what went down there leads me to believe that your source is wrong or at least misinformed.Comment

Re: if anyone cares
PS3 won't be out in spring. If it was then all the game stores would be really pushing preorders now. The earliest it'll be out is probably September or so of 2006, that's if it even comes out in 2006.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
