30 at mine too. It's supposed to be 64 degrees with a low of 40 Saturday....so maybe I'll get there at about 5-6am since that's not too cold. Last time I got there at 4:30 and got a core (which I sold since I wanted a premium) but I think--at least I'm hoping--it won't be as bad as last time.

Two out of three by me are getting 46 and the third is getting 50.

They have to hold 20 of them for the 18th. As for what they do with the rest that is still up in the air. They could sell them Friday or they could hold them all for Sunday, no one knows.

whats the deal with the 18th, why not just get them in and put them on shelves, its not like its another launch, what is so special about not being able to sell until the 18th?

b/c BB can do whatever the heck they want to?? Plus, it curbs the employees buying them on the downlow.

would yall think it would be safe to just go like 1 hour before the store opens? i dont know about yall but i live in a town with like 80,000 people in it and there are 28 in one store and 24 in another

I would go much earlier than that and at least drive by and see if there's a crowd. If they are only getting roughly 28 in the stores near you that's probably half premiums and half cores so your looking at like top 15 get a Premium.

Im going to go the night before just like launch and be safe.

58 at my store and I'm gonna go at closing time to see how many people are there. If there is already a line starting to form, I'm prolly gonna camp. Two weeks ago, I said I wouldn't camp even if it meant not getting one until 2006, but reading everyone's impressions on the games and the system makes me really want one.

that's depressing. What a beating that will be. But it might just be better to get the whole 'waiting in line' over with real quick.

I also heard, through threads on this board, and from my brother, who used to work there, that Best Buy gets their shipments in on Thursday nights. That memo to employees said something about keeping a certain amount until Sunday? So wouldn't a certain amount be 'on the shelves' on Friday?
