Halo 3 Already Polished and Playable?

Gamespot is reporting the development of Halo 3 could be much farther along then any of us could have imagined.

The whole Halo series is overrated if you ask me, which no one did.

I view Halo pretty close to that Fishepa. Halo is a good "group" game. Get a group of people together, play five rounds or so, then move onto some other game. It's a good meeting place type game.

isn't it supposed to launch the same time as the ps3?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Halo has its place within the realm of FPS. I caught on it late and I see why it has such wide appeal. IMO, its probably the most balanced and simplistic online FPS out. I like tactical shooters myself but I haven't found one that offers as much balance as Halo has.

As for Halo 3, I could care less how the single player campaign goes, multiplayer is where its at. Those guys at bungie are a talented group when it comes to online capabilites. The matchmaking system is pure genious. More online games should adapt they're system.

Actually, the game is near completion so the rumor mill has it. They are just really making sure the game is polished. It will come out when the PS3 is released to take away some of the PS Steam. Bungie has said that they could release it, but will take the time to tweak the gameplay system, and add the "extras" that will make the game so much different than any other videogame experience.

Can't remember where I read that, but it should be pretty sweet.

I think the same and I'm a huge xbox fan. I really don't get all the hype about it.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I'm going to assume you've played the game and just dont' like it, which is understandable. I like Halo, one of the best online games for Xbox, but I'm also a fan of GR and COD and realistic shooters, while my friends aren't because you die too quickly, or the guns are weird or something. Different tastes for different people.

I liked them I just don't think that they are the best first person shooters ever.
