Personally, I think the game is great (I also really enjoy COD2 like many others have stated). One thing I don't understand is the gripe about aiming... I haven't had any problems with itComment

Re: Perfect Dark Zero
My problem is I have played so many fps games on my pc. PDZ doesn't compare to some of the top pc shooters like FEAR, HL2, and Far Cry. For a console fps, it's pretty good.Comment

Re: Perfect Dark Zero
I love COD II but I wish they didn't give you the option of starting off with a sniper rifle. If you could pick it up later that would be cool. Because on some maps everyone will just camp and that does not make for a interesting game.
And people that play team games really need to get mics.Last edited by Altimus; 01-06-2006, 04:17 PM.Comment

Question for those of you who have been playing (possible SPOILERS, not really though). On the nightclub level, where are the second or third sentries you need to ID? I know the first one is right in the middle of the courtyard, but I can't for the life of me find either of the other two. Do you need to go into the club to find them?Comment

Yea... not as good as CoD2. Too bad since the first Perfect Dark was truly phenomenal.Comment

I am going to trade it in for either Project Gotham 3 or DOA4. Anyone have a recomendation? I am neither a huge fighting or racing guy - I just want whichever is the more generally fun game.Comment

PGR 3 is great, but gets old really fast. The online component is weak because of the drastic difference in skill level between racers. You can go the whole race, finish 2nd, and really have no interaction with other drivers. Being a Burnout guy, I have given up on the online fun compenent of PGR. I am selling PGR and PDZ on craigslist now and just holding onto COD2. I am out until Fight Night comes out (especially after the Full Auto disaster demo).Comment

Re: Perfect Dark Zero
Glad I rented this game before buying. I beat it in the time I rented it and I wasn't THAT impressed with its multiplayer, I'd much rather play Halo mutliplayer. I basically thought it sucked. One thing that I think would make this game just feel better to play is adding an ability to jump. I hate having to run everywhere to do anything.Comment

Re: Perfect Dark Zero
I dont care what none of you say, I like PDZ more than COD 2. You can shoot me all you want, I dont care. This game has style and the graphics are pretty decent as well. The textures on buildings, walls and the ground is much better than COD as well as the character graphics. As for the gameplay, it reminds me so much of the original Perfect Dark as well as Goldeneye and thats key to me. I like all the lil reload animations they use as well as the various death animations. The level design is'nt all that bad as was stated in a few reviews I read. I'm attached to the characters, the story and the beauty of the futurristic enviorments that are within the game. The enemy AI is'nt bad as well. Better than COD IMO. Anyways, I'm digging both games but PDZ leaves me with that brillaint Goldeneye feeling that I've been looking for since the N64 ceased to exsist.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Perfect Dark Zero
I rented this game and just could not get into it. It really seemed weak especially after playing COD 2 and Fear (on the PC). Rare used to be the golden child of the industry but I think Bioware is taking over for them.DON'T PANICComment
