    2006 Consumer Electronics Show

Dunno if I should post this in the Entertainment forum or here.

Live Stream for CES at Circuit City
Expect to see alot here from companies like AMD, Apex Digital, ATI, Logitech, Nvidia, Alienware, Microsoft, Sony, Gizmondo, and others

Besides the PS3 (which will probably won't be shown much at all), I want to see these 1080p TVs Sony brags about. I just got a new HDTV, I can't see how it can get any better!

I wonder what Microsoft will show as far as gaming also.

And I'm looking forward to next-gen PC games or whatever (I'm not up on PC games, are the graphics up to par with 360 and PS3 yet?).

Interesting quote at gamersreports this morning.

While everyone and their dog has been posting about this CES showing PS3 stuff, Sony have apparantly said there is no new news at all.

maybe its just hush, hush, so that they can surprise everyone when they make their announcements

Or maybe they just don't have any news. Nobody will know until sony is ready for people to know.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

that could be true, but with them renting over 12,000 square feet of space for the show and them sticking to their spring release date, I have to believe that they are going to give information at the CES.

well since this is a consumer electronic show, and not a videogame show, its very possible Sony rented that space to show off their consumer electronics...

thats true, but I still think that some PS3 information is coming across the table. I can't see them holding their tongue when they are stating that they will release the system this spring.

              We'll start learning things tomorrow.

We probably won't see any games. But remember, PS3 is a lot more than a gaming machine. My guess is we'll see it running Linux, we'll see more on Blue-Ray, PS3's online capabilities, and other features. I'm pretty happy with that since I already know what next-gen graphics look like right now, I wanna see what else it can do!

I didn't mean for this to be a straight PS3 thread though :o

I am anxious to see some of the new televisions that are coming out. Need to see which tv I want to get to play the PS3 on.:

But there will indeed be a great deal of gadget news, including anticipated announcements from Sony on its forthcoming PlayStation 3 console
