Yes, that is the type of battery that it takes one of the larger batteries which look like the flat batteries in watches.

If you checked Page 2, I have a pic of this thing back and front views.

I am using this & I must say I am very happy with this product. Not only is a Selector, but it's also a Video Scaler & HDTV Upconverter. It's definetly a bang for the buck & highly recommend it..

I feel like there is some grain not noticeable to others, but I'm a Hi-Def nut, so I notice these things.

This selector is supposed to be good since it's powered. It's by Pelican, $99.

            Garbage. Absolute garbage.

I bought this last night and I'm taking it back today. There is a ton of bleeding of colors on my 360 and even my HD cable picture doesn't look as sharp.

Stay far away from this if you are looking for something that is doing 1080i switching.

Weird, I have none, the picture looks amazing through it.

I don't have my 360 hooked up to this, it's hooked up directly to the TV. I have my XBOX, DVD player, and PS2 via component and no problem. I notice if something is not sharp looking on my HDTV.

Maybe it's a bad box? Take it back and get another one.

Are you guys running two 1080i devices through it? My cable and 360 are both running 1080i and it makes the 360's picture looks disgusting (high contrast, colors bleeding over, can't read names on the back of jerseys, a magenta line at the top of the start screen on Madden).

I would say it could be a bad box, but the picture on my HDTV doesn't look anything close to as bad as that. I wonder if it is a 360 related issue?

I have my 360, Xbox, PS2, Cube, and DVD player all component in using this. My cable is using HDMI. But I have ran 360 straight into my TV and through this switcher using 1080i and was unable to see any differences.

That may explain a little bit of our differences. You aren't running two devices at the same time through it at 1080i.

Yeah, that could be the issue and difference.

After owning this device for 2 1/2 months, I think that it does the job fairly well with everything that I have hooked up to it. If anyone else is looking to buy one, I recommend getting this.
