Why BC on the 360 will never reach full potential.

I don't want this thread to get out of hand with immature "knocks" towards Microsoft, but I'd like to hear why everyone thinks,

BC on the 360 will never reach full potential?

1-Certain games running off of the emu are laggy.
2-No way to transfer saves from xbox1 to 360.
3-No Action Replay to update roster files. (Has been confirmed that no 3rd party is allowed to make a device like this, I wish I still had the URL).
4-Hard to code emu for games to run smoothly.

If it does reach it's potential, I can see it at best being in 2 years from now since emulators take years before they could run nice and smooth.

There is a way to get Xbox saves to the 360 now using Linux, but it is a project and a half.

Why BC on the 360 will never reach full potential.

Because 12 months from now B/C will be a complete non-issue due to the release of an incredible new library, so, why bother.

but you make some valid points

I don't think anyone will care when the good games start coming out.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

              Good point.

But there might be a sequel to a game coming out that someone may want to try the original.

I know for one if VC never puts out a next-gen football game, I will defitnitely want to play 2K5 on my 360 for every year Madden football has the license.

I still don't understand the fascination of people wanting to play previous' generation games on next generation hardware. If it's that much of a concern why didn't you keep your old xbox?

That's why I'm keeping my xbox.

Yea, me to but I'm just speaking in general. Heck, you never know if your Box will just crap out on you one day.

Actually me neither. It really makes no sense. I already plan on scooping up as many XBOX1 titles I can find after I get a 360 so I need to keep my XBOX.

I would imagine it is a space/convenience issue for people. If I could play every Xbox game on my 360, there would be no reason to even keep my Xbox hooked up. I already have a ton of other electronic components hooked up, so consolidating is a good thing when I can.

It isn't a big deal yet for me, but when I get either an HD-DVD or Blu-ray standalone player and a PS3, I am going to need some extra room somewhere.

I sold mine to get money for Xbox 360. It helps convince the wife when Im selling one and using that towards the purchase of the new system.
