Sorry that this is a little OT, but is the PS3 fully BC (even with PSX games)?

I don't know, I keep on hearing rumors that it is than some that it isn't.

I know a couple people who wanted to pick up old Xbox titles for their 360 because they never got to play them because they never owned an Xbox. I still bought PS1 titles after I got my PS2 so it is nice to have the feature. Most people want it with their 360 because Sony and Nintendo (with their handhelds) have established it as a norm for their new systems to play their old games. If the 360 doesn't have it then it doesn't have it. I wouldn't think its a system seller but it is a dissapointment for some people when they find out their 360 can't play their favorite Xbox titles.

It is a feature that many people really look forward to when purchasing newer systems. It helps the sales of previous generation games.

Thats not totally true. If the 360 was fully BC, I would buy the xbox version of College Hoops and not wait for the 360 version. Its cheaper and its out so I wouldnt spend 60 more bucks for a graphixs upgrade.

I think that so many games aren't BC because of consumers sharing a similar philosophy.
