I'd clear it up with them. If not someway somehow down the road....you will get it handed back to you. Probably not in the way your experience was, but everything always has a funny way of working out the way it should.

I'd try and clear it up with them. Some manager probably reamed out his employees for "stealing" an xbox360. I assume since the sale was never recorded, the inventory is still in the system. When they do their count they are going to be one short. Bottom line is do the right thing.

Karma can be a mother. When I was 19, I went with a buddy down to Panama Beach, FL for a week. I was kinda low on cash and was having to watch my every dollar. When we were paying the rent on our condo, the lady miscounted my change and gave me back about $100 too much. I realized what she did, but being low on funds (and young & stupid), I kept my mouth shut. We had a fun week and I had more spending money than I had counted on. In fact, when we left for home, I was gloating about actually bringing money back. Well, we stopped for gas about halfway home. I got out of the car and cleaned my buddy's windshield and got back in the car. When we got home, I realized that my wallet was gone! I suppose it fell out when I got out of the car for the gas stop. I lost all my cash, plus my driver's license and my 1 credit card. It ended up costing me money (replacing license & wallet). Since then, if I EVER get handed back too much change or not charged the correct amount, I always bring it the salesperson's attention. I learned my lesson.

This is true, if you mess with Karma it will bite right back.
