The PS2 selling 1.5 million units is impressive, but the GBA selling 1.2 million is even more. It never, ever slows down.

The DS is really putting a hard push on the PSP as well.

The GBA is pretty cheap at this point, so I'm not surprised it is still selling so well (and Nintendo just released the Micro version).

I didn't know there were 1.5 million people that didn't own a PS2 in America.

Well, I would say many of them need to buy new PS2's to replace broken ones. The life expectency has never been very good on PS2's.

I was just thinking about that a little. Just eating up the boards with them sales.

XBOX 360 reaching how many by the summer? Better rethink that joint.......

I think a lot of those 1.5 million ps2 sales are people upgrading to the new slim version.

I cant believe even the GC is selling more than XBOX. Who in the hell plays the GC?

Like people have said already, it would be interesting to know how many of those ps2's are repurchases. Absolutely no way of knowing that but a company will do anything to inflate numbers like that. Not saying this is just Sony, but I'm sure Nintendo and Microsoft would do the same.

The same people that made a Pokemon game the second best selling game of all last year.

                          Pokemon..ARRGGHH

Well, I would guess that 90% of GC owners purchased Pokemon because it was the only game released that year. LOL.

Thanks to Sony's QA i'm on my 5th PS2 in 6 years so you can make a conclusion they break. Nice way to pad their 100million+ base.

Every single person I know(including myself) has had to replace their PS2 at some point. My bro is on his 3rd. Everyone else is on their second.
