Re: My XBOX and XBOX360 Thoughts!
I actually went ahead and sold my 360 and six games on ebay (got back everything I originally play - 50 bucks). The games just weren't really doing it for me, and I just wasn't that impressed with the system. I don't know what it is, but with the pending PS3 release, the noise of the system, and the horrible backwards compatibility, the 360 was just feeling more and more like a Dreamcast to me. I'm glad there are those of you who are happy with it, but for me, I just wasn't feeling it.
I've decided to go buy a PS2, and hold out for the PS3 which should be coming sometime in the fall. With great games out like NCAA Baseball, and Black and MLB 06: The Show due out in February, there are just too many good current gen titles I still want to enjoy before fully engulfing myself in Next Gen. Maybe the whole Xbox 360 thing just feels a little too soon to me. Plus, by grabbing a PS2, I should have some nice BC titles in my library in the future.
Anyway, sorry to ramble and be such a downer. I hope everyone with a 360 is enjoying it, because it truly is an excellent system... just not for me right now
