Or realize the PS3 and Revolution aren't even released to have an interview such as this?

I don't get why you'd expect an interview of a PR boss to not include things on gamer's mind. Pretend the backwards compatibility isn't a joke...many people traded in their systems expecting MS having Ninja Gaiden Black before Sneakers emulated...when they claimed the top-selling games would be playable. Do you consider Sneakers top-selling/high profile?
While I agree that you should ask questions that are tough there was IMO a very negative tone in the interview right from the outset, as if 1up wanted to start a fight. I have read interviews on other major sites that didn't pull any punches but it never came across like "you are here and we want to make you look bad." IMO the interview had a hostile tone. If you didn't get that feeling that's cool but I felt that when I read it.

When I see them grill a Sony or Nintendo rep the way they grilled Peter Moore then I will say you're right. I don't think it would ever happen because their site is plastered with Sony Playstation Online advertising and such. And I don't think the Nintendo or Sony Reps would put up with that behavior either.

Ripping a product which is unable to answer or talk back is totally different than trying to engage another person into a conversation and my impression was 1up was not interested in that.

I think it's good too because magazines rarely ask tough questions but EGM has been on the sony bandwagon for awhile and you can tell that there's a bias.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
