I've read the same thing. I now have no reason to buy a ps3, except maybe for the DVR

On a side note, can't wait to check out Saint's Row with the online stuff.

It doesn't make much sense to not have it on both consoles.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

And it very well could be. Take-Two hasn't said whether or not they'll re-sign an exclusive contract with Sony. I also know they have been talking with Microsoft as well. I think by E3 they will have made an announcement.

          Re: Grand Theft Auto?

I think it would be interesting to see RockStar's take on fighting crime as opposed to creating it. Rubbing out crack dealers, pederasts, murder suspects, etc.
Of course, the name "Grand Theft Auto" probably wouldn't be appropriate for any game such as the aforementioned. In addition, you probably couldn't just apprehend a perp, then blow his brains out or beat him to death with a billy-club for the sake of reality. If there were restrictions on how close you needed to follow the law (i.e. - read perp his/her Miranda Rights), I'm unsure how much this would satisfy the blood-thirsty audience Grand Theft auto caters to...

I suppose you could have option of following the law, and collaring a perp OR beating them to death and it would have appropriate ramifications in the game. Example - Internal Affairs Bureau starts to tail you after you begin to kill innocent people or suspects...

I like this idea and think that it would work out. Look at True Crime series, it has sold fairly well besides the bugs/glitches. I think that Rockstar could take this type of series to the next level.

I like your ideas above for a cop story. It could still be called Grand Theft Auto.

I wanna see a futuristic version.

I'd love a huge, upward expanding futuristic city like SW Episode III...each different level of the city would be a separate environment, including a Blade Runner-esque lower level. Flying vehicles...jetpacks...Wipeout-like highways..all buildings accessible. That would be gaming heaven.

That's a good idea. I'd like to play something like that.

Another good idea for the next GTA.

Imagine jacking anti-grav rides from the elite neighborhoods in the upper atmosphere level (above the clouds)..and then being chased while plunging thousands of feet to the underground levels, darting through clouds, buildings, and vertical levels of traffic. I'd piss my pants.

On the real though, GTA is getting quite tiring to me. Just saw so much more that could have been added I think. Maybe I'll take a look at what that Mafia looks like.

Also, drop some of those links if you can for the multi-release of GTA V. I thought I read somewhere that Sony still had the contract.......

Get Mafia for the PC. I can't imagine anyone calling the game "whack" if they've played it on the PC. I don't think it ported over to the consoles very well. And I agree with ExtremeGamer, Mafia is MUCH better than GTA. Better missions, better characters, much more interesting storyline, and they did a great job with the atmosphere in the game. Don't expect a GTA clone though, it's a linear game to a large extent, and unlike GTA its primary focus is telling a story.

                        That's pretty much Crackdown.
