I thought it was going to be a legit joint. And leave it up to IGN to get that buzz flowing around. Well, it might just kill overseas but this joint ain't floating over here it seems. I wonder if Rockstar is goign to use the "Next Movement" from 2K in this?? Maybe it won't be that bad. I'll definitely have to say that I rather take a dump thankt o have heard this, but I'll check it out anyway. Might grow on me......

Somehow I feel this thing is going to be a big letdown. Not sure how, but I'm remaining skeptical.

I was right . . . this isn't a letdown, but a tremendous shock.

This WILL prove to be a hoax - why get everyone's attention to say that "only the 360" can support a real-time physics engine for table tennis.

This does not make one lick of sense at all. If there is no real message behind this like a GTA, it will be one of the most ludicrous hype generations in history.

i tihnk you guys will all be eating crow when this game finally comes out... i tihnk were in for a truly next gen experience...

though, with the hype that ign gave this i can see why everyones didssapointed..

i for one think its going to be awesome.and im not even a table tennis fan persay.

So you guys think this is FAKE? A cover up for the real story? I don't know about that... And going by the hints Doug gave beforehand, what else could it be? Why through *R* name in there if its fake? If its a new IP (as Doug stated in his hints) then no way could be GTA or a known franchise.

If this is an April fools joke, its mighty early and not that well thought out...What are they going to do, wait until E3 and say April fools? Because thats when any new GTA would be unveiled if this were related at all.

I think its just Table Tennis, he did say "Anyway, I expect the range of reactions to be wide in range and long in wind." looks like he was right

Because videogames are a bussiness for the companies that run them,entertainment for us. To make money they must make games that will entertain us. Who outside of China is really entertained by table tennis? Think this game will sell,even at that price? Even then it says expected release is May,most of the possible audiance for this probably would've already bought Top Spin 2.

Here's a quote from the interview: "We were keen to test out these theories on a smaller scale, and Table Tennis felt like the perfect fit. And, yes, you will be able to hold the racquet in both styles."

This is a setup for sure. Hold the racquet in both hands???? What if Rockstar us tajung an ILOVEBEES/codename approach to a new level? Maybe they are going to build up info on this phony game only to have a big unveiling of something spectacular....or at least better than table tennis.
