Just look at the first xbox launch games, then look at splinter cell chaos theory; its not even close. Just imagine 3 years from now what the games will look like when developers understand how much more they can do. GRAW isnt using a fraction of the total power im guessing, how could it when they have only had the kits for 6-8 months (according to IGN the game has been done since december/jan). I have an hdtv, and while the graphics are nice, Im still not in "awe" of it. I wish I could turn off all the clutter on the screen so I can see more of the nice environment though...
Is any one else getting TOO accustomed to next gen graphics??

I can barely look at my ugly ugly PS2 games anymore.
Oddly, old school SNES and N64 stuff is still holding up great!Comment

Originally posted by ExtremeGamerNah, next gen still impresses me. Both GRAW and Burnout blew me away. But I pop in a current gen game and it does nothing for me. Black is a pretty game, but I pop in any next gen game, and Black goes to being very normal.Comment

No, I have yet to get spoiled by the next gen graphics, but you do poise a good question.
Yea, I loved the graphics for PDZ. The character models were off but the textures and bump mapping of the enviroments were great. COD was probably the most graphically unimpressive game I've played so far...IMO of course.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

As for me nothing has worn off yet, I am still amazed everytime I turn on my 360. However I don't play games near as much as some of y'all either (i'm mostly a weekend gamer as I'm too busy thru the week) so maybe that has something to do with it.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
