I would but i don't have the room for it and I would just wait and save some cash. I would of thought by now that these tv would be a little cheaper. The tv I really want and could get in the next year is this 72 inch dlp Hdtv made by Panasonic, i think. Maybe i just get s maller Hdtv so I can get the use of the 360. I already have surround sound.

Also, call customer service when you get your tracking number. Philips shipped mine through Eagle Carriers--a company whose tracking number is useless since you can't track it online or find a phone number unless you go through the massive wait time-required Philips customer service line.

I might get that one for the time being. Does it support 1080i and what flaws are in the tv Slayer?

Does HD ready means its ready to go or does it mean that you have to get a HDTV tuner?

"HD ready" means that the TV does not have a built in tuner to receive over-the-air HD broadcasts. You don't need the tuner to receive HD cable/satellite or play video games in high-def.

Does 1080i monitor with HDMI mean that the tv out of the box gives you 1080i pictue or no?

Yep, Jets. If you hook up a 360, HD cable/satellite box, or any device that transmits a 1080i HD signal to that TV, it will display in HD. No extra equipment is needed (Note - you do have to hook up the device via component cables or HDMI cable).

When it comes to HDTv I am am pretty clueless, so i might I ask some questions that may be dumb for most people. When you said, you have to hook up the device via componet cables HDMI cable. Do you mean I just hook up the HD cables from the 360 to the tv or do I have to buy other cables.

The cables that come with the 360 premium pack are component, so you just hook those up to the TV, making sure the switch at the base of the cable is set to "HDTV". When that's done, go into your 360's video settings and set it to 1080i. After that, you should be good to go.

Thanks alot, I hooked up my friends tv and he had a hdtv. At first he thought he was getting Hd quality which i thought too, but something didn't seem right. He didn't have the button on the back of the 360, selected to HD. I have to get the HD cables, because I got my 360 at launch and all I could get my hands on was a core. I could understand them giving the premium more stuff, but they could of atleast gave the core people the Hd cables which also have the regular Rca cables connected to it.

Also, call customer service when you get your tracking number. Philips shipped mine through Eagle Carriers--a company whose tracking number is useless since you can't track it online or find a phone number unless you go through the massive wait time-required Philips customer service line.

Nope, 360 on a Sony Wega SDTV 25". Looks good enough for me.
