Yep, play it mostly on my new plasma tv, but i also played it on my RPTV. I just wouldnt bother with a standard def tv unless I had to.

I completely understand the price being a big conceern. I know Walmart has a 30 or 32 inch Widescreen HDTV for $560. I personally have a 51 inch Rear projection HDTV that was $800. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that you'll find in a $1500+ HDTV but it serves it's purpose.

If you don't plan on moving the tv much/at all (these bad boys are heavy), getting a nice rear projection tv can be anywhere from $800-$1200.

Been gaming on my 1080i widescreen for a week now; what a difference it makes! I popped in all my games just to look at them in awe.

Could you tell me when u recevied your tv if it had any scratches on it? I called up phillps today and they said factory renewed means the the tv was taking out of the box and returned to phillips. They said the tv could have some scratches. I don't mind if the Tv was taken out of the box, but I don't want to spend 4 or 5 hundred dollars to get a tv with scratches. They told me that there is no way to tell if I get Tv with scratches or not. If you could tell me how your swork out

Same here I hooked up my 360 to my 32" Wega SDTV with the component cables and I already think it looks great. No doubt it would be crisper on an HDTV but it's not worth the expense for me right now.

I used to want a big 50 inch or so TV but one of my friends bought a 46" and I can tell the image quality is not as good since you get the same resolution meaning bigger pixels. We were watching a hockey game in HD at his house and it didn't even look as good as it does in SD on my 32". So when I do go the HD route it will be with a 30 or 32 inch model as you really lose some of the crispness when you go bigger.
