Re: Driver or True Crime???
Ehh... GTA.
In my mind, it's really all on what you enjoy more. Driver is MUCH more driving-based and really enthuses realism, while True Crime is more of what you'll see in a Jet Li movie. Enough said there.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

True Crime: NY is a great concept, but a very bug ridden game. I haven't played Driver 4, but I hear that the game finally plays really good.Comment

Do you want a game which is driving focused and a bit of GTA style with an awesome story, go with Driver:PL.
I'm just warning you that I did like TC:NY, but I gave up on it due to some of the bugs that plagued the game. I even had the collector's edition for the xbox.
One thing that was aggravating is that the game is way too dark so it makes it hard to see around in some buildings. I wish that the development team would have taken another month to fix this stuff as the game is really cool in concept.Comment

thanks for the advice, i think Driver is the way i'll go, even though true crime is cheaper, Driver's storyline and unbelievable soundtrack is what makes me want to spend the extra cash on it. plus i think they're is a limited edition for Driver also thats out.Comment

If you want storyline, both games have a good storyline. I have read that Driver:PL has a fantastic story where you begin the game in 1970's and eventually you get into jail and released in 2006. I was reading that the beginning of the game is the best that has been seen on a GTA/Driver style of game.Comment

Re: Driver or True Crime???
is it me, or does the main character look like Depp's "Blow" character???.. hehe -- the one thing i like about Driver than TC is that is expansive to drive around in - can go into Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, & NJ rather than staying on Manhattan.. however TC has gotten all the streets down correctly in Manhattan.. pretty cool some of the features they added - like Shea & Yankee Stadiums, etc..

yeah i think its 10 dollars more, the 1970's/2006 is what really intrigues me about the storyline. and yeah it is strange he does resemble the johnny depp characterComment
