    Soul trap is easy.

    1. Have a soul gem large enough for the thing you are going to kill (petty, lesser, common...etc)
    2. Beat em down close to death
    3. Cast soul trap spell on them (either with a spell or enchanted weapon)
    4. Finish them off before the soul trap spell ends
    5. Soul automatically finds it's way into a gem if you have an empty one big enough
    6. Double click on filled soul gem in inventory and it will bring up a list of enchanted weapons you can use the soul gem to fill and recharge.

You can also kill and soul trap the things you summon. If your in a pinch and need your magic weapon recharged summon something, soul trap and kill it. Just make sure you have Azura's Star or enough gems to keep getting the souls.

        Yes...spoiler hint below

i wouldn't give Martin Azura's Star as the daedric artifact he needs...too useful, find a staff or weapon from one of the other daedric quests that you won't use IMO

Update to the latest nvidia drivers if you have a nvidia video card.

I'll cosign with mgoblue on that. Find one that gives an armor or weapon type you don't use that you can give him.

I've read you can duplicate items now, has anyone tried doing this?

Thanks guys, but before you guys posted I looked in the instruction book of all places and found out how but thanks anyways.

So my guy is a Wood Elf with the Theif birth sign thing and Armorer, Athletics, Alteration, Sneak, Acrobatics, Marksman, Restoration. I'm still a level 1 to so it's not to late if anyone has any good suggestions.

Take the time to level up a weapon skill other than Marksman. Without taking a close combat weapon as a major, it could make things difficult later on.

yeah, marksman is awesome, especially with sneak, but sometimes you can't just shoot arrows and kite the enemy....if you don't have a blade, blunt, whatever as backup you'll find it tougher
