Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
I heard this thing only lowered 2 to 10 degrees of the the temperature that you'd get without it.
I'm broke as hell, but my 360 is getting hot and I'm becoming extremely paranoid. My only option is to trade in Fifa RTWC to get this thing. I just want peace of mind!LOLComment

Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
Vince i'm a huge fan of the Intercooler. Circulating and moving air in and out of a hot machine is a good thing. One thing to consider is ambient room temperture. If your gaming room is already warm the machine internally will reflect that.Originally posted by VinceI heard this thing only lowered 2 to 10 degrees of the the temperature that you'd get without it.

This time of year in Florida I run the AC pretty much all day. Even without the Intercooler my system would be warm. IMO if your getting paranoid buy the Intercooler it's a good product.

Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
I second Rod on the intercooler. I live in Chicago where it's hot and humid during the summer, but I run my AC everyday. My 360 is in the basement so I don't worry about the heat since it's rather cold down there.Originally posted by RodsterVince i'm a huge fan of the Intercooler. But, I have the intercooler on the system as added insurance.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
Anyone elses Intercooler cause the power to go out on your 360? I've had it happen twice since I got mine a week ago. Its an easy solution of just reconnecting it in the back but I find the process to be annoying.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
Imo, this is a little flaw with the intercooler. The plug does not fit in snug enough and because it is heavy too, it pulls down and sometimes cuts the power. I wrapped a piece of electrical tape around the plug so that the connection was snug. No power cuts.Originally posted by Xavier12Anyone elses Intercooler cause the power to go out on your 360? Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
I haven't had the power go out once. You want to make sure that everything is secured in the back of the system like Nemesis mentions that there is a small flaw where the power cord doesn't fit tight. Also, where do you have your powerbrick sitting? Mine is on the ledge behind the TV so it's about even height wise with the 360 so the plug doesn't pull down.Originally posted by Xavier12Anyone elses Intercooler cause the power to go out on your 360? Re: Xbox 360 Intercooler
LMAO. I just got back from EB. Traded in Fifa RTWC for it. The guy told me not to buy the intercooler, that it was ****.
I just want some piece at mind and not have to worry that after playing 2 straight hours, my 360 won't die on me.Comment

Any opportunity to pull heat away from the system is beneficial. It does what it is supposed to, whether it is needed or not really depends on everyones individual situation.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
