question - does the 360 really get "that hot" that one needs to purchase this? just asking as a "newbie" to the system..

They can get very warm if playing for extended amounts of time and if not properly ventilated. I've serviced and built computers since the early 90's and it's never a bad idea to keep them running cool.

And that's the purpose of this device it naturally pulls air into the 360 and blows it out the back so you don't create heat buildup inside the unit.

OMFG, I can't get to gamestop anymore, what the hell is going on, I can't get to the site no matter what I try, anybody know why this is happening.

Your Pop Up Blocker may have put it on the list of blocked sites?? Thats the only thing i can think of..

I agree, I usually play 1-2 hours at a time but I still want to keep my system as cool as possible.

How much? Not that I'll get it now but if I have some money to blow sometime in the future and I have all the games I want (which most likely will be never), I can pick it up or something. Drop some impressions if you can.
