far cry 1 for xbox was one of my all-time favorite single player experiences....is this just like that?

I played the crisis2 demo and walked away not giving a ship.

I'm also much more into killing humans than aliens, so if it's heavier on the homicide that's a plus too lol

Do bodies disappear in this game? I've watched some more gameplay videos, and sometimes the bodies stay there, sometimes there's just a blood stain on the ground. Is it different between the PC and console versions when it comes to bodies?

Good question but I believe the bodies stay there for a good while. They may disappear after a while. Never notice it really. I know they stay a while as there are many times I from a distance and by the time I get there (in the case of last mission to get their rocket launchers) the bodies were still there 5-10 minutes later.

Thanks for the info. I don't know why, but when I see bodies disappear in shooters, it totally ruins the realism for me and right away makes the game arcadish. That's why I didn't get The Godfather 2. It just seemed so baby's-game (if that makes sense) that bodies disappear and their weapons just hang there.

Any chance that at some point Crysis's PS3 version will be sold at stores?

              Re: Crysis and CryEngine 2 (PS3/PC/Xbox 360)

Downloaded this a couple of days, and so far the game is amazing. One of the better FPS I have played. Graphically it is a very good looking console game, even with the changes that were made from the PC version to get it to run. I can now see why people who played the original Crysis were upset with the fact that Crysis 2 was more linear in comparison, because the level of freedom in terms of completing your mission in Crysis 1 is unlike any other game I have played. I still liked Crysis 2 quite a bit, but so far the original defiantly has the edge in the gameplay department by a decent margin.

Surprised more people haven't picked this up, assuming you haven't already played it on the PC. This is a flat out steal for $20, and I really wish there were more game like it in terms of the freedom that it gives you. I am pretty sick of nothing, but corridor shooters seemingly being released, this and Deux EX earlier this year have been a breaths of fresh air.

Even though I am only on the Assault level and from what I understand people say the game goes a little downhill once the aliens are introduced and becomes more linear.

I just picked up Crysis and Warhead for the PC (used/ebay) + Red Faction: Guerrilla for under $11 shipped. Not bad.
