XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
This thing looks to be a better option then a memory card transfer kit combo.

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
That looks pretty sweet on the real. I'm impressed by what I see. Just want to see how good it works. I wonder if anyone will be getting that. Since I have the Xchange 360 already, I'm not worried about getting that thing. Good find.......Last edited by luv_mist; 04-10-2006, 03:29 PM.Comment

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
"The problem with the Xbox 360’s built-in hard drive is it just isn’t big enough. 12GB of usable space might be sufficient for the casual gamer, but the hardcore joypad juggler needs more. With XSATA, the latest devious device from Datel, you can free up hard drive space by transferring content between your console and your PC. You need never run out of hard drive space on your XB360 again!
Using your Xbox 360 file manager software such as the free PC app Xplorer 360, you can transfer materials from your console’s hard drive to your PC, using your computer’s hard disc space to store demos, game saves and other such materials you’re not currently using. When you need them again, just transfer back to the XB360’s drive. Once the data is on your PC, you can email anything that’s not locked to your machine or L!VE account to your friends for them to use on their own consoles too.
XSATA is a plug-and-play device that sits between your XB360’s hard drive and the console itself. There’s no need to remove your XB360’s hard drive to use it. The PC and the 360 can then ‘share’ the HDD so it can remain in place at all times. To connect, just plug the supplied cable into the High Speed USB port on the back of XSATA and into any spare USB port on your PC. XSATA is USB 2.0-compatible, so you can expect ultra-fast transfer speeds of up to 480mbps. It looks great too, with blue laser light giving a real cool edge to your console.
XSATA for Xbox 360 is in the shops now. As always, it's also available direct from Datel's Codejunkies Shop for a mere $39.99. Get one today - you know it makes sense..."Comment

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
This pisses me off, I spent $60 for the memory card + transfer kit like the rest of us that bought one.
I'll wait for some impressions before I decide to buy this thing. XSATA looks like a much better option than the transfer kit. Datel is smart, their looking for some money.Comment

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
Originally posted by FootballForeverthis looks cool, but I'm keeping my transfer it, It takes only seconds for me transfer saves with the transfer kit, so There no need for me to waste $40 on this when I have somthing I paid $15 that does the same thing. Good Idea no doubt, I'll stick with the TK.Comment

Re: XSATA - The Ultimate XB360 PC/HD transfer device
So would this allow us to exchange NCAA 2007 rosters easily? I just don't want to buy one device and everyone else is using something else. Or are all these devices basically interchangeable in a sense the save files are not going to be anything named different so it doesn't matter what device you buy and use?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
