    Battlestations Midway

Looks pretty cool and may be a decent game for the Blazing Angels folks. In this one, you control aircraft, submarines, and battleships and it will have XBOX live modes. Like I needed another game to add to a growing August list

    Now that says 1,000 words!

Finally a WW2 game that got the models right, no more generic battleships!

Is this in any way related to the game "Battle Stations" for the PSX? Cuz that game was tight, if shallow.

And those graphics are very nice.

Dave & Nyisles, you two need to stop. Dont make me go out and buy a used copy of Blazing Angels. GRAW and BFII MC have already consumed my life as it is.

was that an arcadey game where you controlled the actual ship with the controller, and sailed around attacking stuff? When I saw this I remembered a game that seemed similar on the PC i think it was, from way back in the day

                          TXB preview with more screens
                          http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/10757/...s-on-Xbox-360/

My favorite part of the preview
“On Xbox Live™, gamers will be able to take part in gripping cooperative games and the high-definition mode really brings to life the glorious scale of Midway battles,” said Klaude Thomas, Producer. “The power of Xbox 360 allows us a greater level of detail – self-shadowed, bump-mapped and textured in high resolution, which you simply couldn’t do before now”
Coop mode will be a blast with some folks dogfighting, some on destroyers, and some in submarines. I hadn't even heard of this game before this morning.

At least give it a rent Boltman. I think you'd enjoy it. I've been playing mainly the coop of it with a bud of mine and it's a lot of fun.
