Re: The Darkness (360 and PS3)
Like with The Chronicles of Rid**** game, The Darkness isn't getting the attention it deserves!
In Creeps The Darkness
Ogle over our exclusive direct-feed HD footage of The Darkness in this full-featured video preview.

In today's in-depth look at The Darkness, due on Xbox 360 and PS3 in June, 2K Games Producer Anthony DeLuca explains the feature set of the unusual first-person shooter and digs deep into the comic-based story, providing details about the tormented lead character, Jackie Estacado, and how he deals with his new best (and very evil) friend, The Darkness.
During 2K Games' visit a few weeks back we not only played the game (see our hands-on impressions), we captured many minutes of direct feed footage, here in this feature. Download this video, listen up, and be prepared to be amazed by this unique game. When someone asked me what I thought of the game, I told them that The Darkness doesn't compare well to a straight-forward first-person shooter like Call of Duty 3, Quake 4, or FEAR. Instead, like Rid**** before it, The Darkness, while still technically a first-person shooter, involves gamers in other ways.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: The Darkness (360 and PS3)
The Darkness Update--To the Otherworld
Starbreeze's darkly comic action game is nearly complete, and our recent sample of the game was the most impressive yet.
GameSpot is the world's largest source for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, Wii PC, 3DS, PSP, DS, video game news, reviews, previews, trailers, walkthroughs, and more.
It's not an exaggeration to say The Darkness has looked better every time we've seen it. That's not to imply it ever looked bad to begin with, but after developer Starbreeze set the quality bar so high with its last game, The Chronicles of Rid****: Escape From Butcher Bay, we've been expecting a lot from this new game based on the sinister Top Cow comic series of the same name. Publisher 2K Games has trotted out the same three-level demo of The Darkness several times during the past few months, all of which was set in similar areas of New York City and consequently left us wondering what other, more disturbing surprises the game would have in store. Now that we've seen some of the grislier and more stirring scenes from later in the game, we're more excited than ever to finally play through it at the end of June.

Re: The Darkness (360 and PS3)
They have a lot of videos. I can't wait to try this game out. I've never seen a game with such fluid animations. The breakdancing scene in the subway looked real, it wasn't stiff or anything.Last edited by jmood88; 06-05-2007, 08:51 PM.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: The Darkness (360 and PS3)
EBgames is offering free overnight shipping on this game today (6/8/07).
I'm gonna order up - any news on the differences between the PS3 and 360 versions? I'm tempted to get the PS3 one for some reason ...5WG | Facebook | Twitter | fiftytwoplays
