I know. What i mean is, Sony would have to "reaffirm" that date for pre-orders to take place.

Not everyone is taking pre-orders. EBgames and Gamestop are not. They are not taking pre-orders until after the E3 show, and that is only if Sony confirms what they stated earlier that they will ship the system in November. If they do, EB/Gamestop will take pre-orders the day after the announcement. If they don't then, until an "official date" is announced that Sony will meet, then EB/Gamestop will not be taking pre-orders.

I didn't know that Toys r Us was taking pre-orders, but what I do know is that 2 of the top video game store chains haven't taken them and won't without an "official date".

no one is talking down to you....are you crazy or something....loosen up damn...its not that serious....I was just posting some info and your going postal.....and I know EB/Gamestop aren't taking them....like you said they are waiting for a confirmed price...because usually only the paid off units are shipped at launch at EB/Gamestop, especially since there will be a major shortage...and Toys R Us, might get in trouble for taking a early jump...not to mention...they are making you Pre-order it in a bundle...

that is how I took your first post, so if I was wrong I apologize. But when you end a sentence with a pause... and then the word "buddy" I take that as being talked down to.

I don't know where you get your info, but at EB and Gamestop, they get a quantity just like any other major outlet store and then EB/Gamestop distribute them to whomever is first on the list. Paid off units have nothing to do with how many they are shipped.

But anyhow, if I misunderstood your original post, though I am not sure I did, then I am sorry for flying off the handle.

I like you BS2, but working for a gamestop does pass as a major video game company.... half of the gamestop workers don't even know there own mothers birthday's. Most Gamestop/Ebgames employees know nothing...

That S**t is faker then fake, I mean the ticket looks nothing like a Toys R Us ticket, I called just last week, and Toys R Us said they are not and can't take pre-orders on any item without knowing at least a street date, not the month but the day...So that is fake my freind.

Well I know someone who does work at GS corporate office. And I don't think it was originally suppose to be that way. But everyone who recieved their 360 on Nov. 22nd were majority customers who had their systems paid off....

I'm just saying its a possibility...it might be even more than likely that it will be like that for PS3...but then again...I'm not God or Ms. Cleo and can't see that far ahead....but we'll just have to sit back and see...

Hopefully Sony can bump up production between now and then...or just eliminate the nationwide launch thing and just give us the full 1 million units...or at least 75% of them..
