Nah, the press conference is a little over an hour away, being at work, I have no prayer of watching the feed.Comment

Re: *** The All Nintendo Wii Price and Features Thread***
Price and software will determine whether I buy this or not. Given that Zelda is going to be Wii-coompatible (God, I hate the name of this stupid thing) that is a good head-start on the software front. I just want to make sure if I buy one that it is going to be supported for quite some time by companies other than Nintendo.
If it's $199 I'll put a down payment on it tomorrow and pay off everything. I doubt it will be that low though, I'm going high here and assuming that their comment that it will be "less than 300 dollars" means 299. It will be interesting to see how much a controller will cost alone (and if they'll come with the analog attachment). And does it have an HD? With all of the downloadable content promised by Nintendo they may need one.Comment

Will the Wii have all the sports games that the other consoles have? Like NCAA Hoops and Football, and all the 2k games?Comment

It will be interesting to see what they do with the release date and price. I hope they announce the details by next June. On other sites and on Eurogamers blog there is mention of the graphics. It's all about the innovation and I wonder how the buying public will react to it.
I am really being won over by the way the games sound. Using that controller for Metroid, Zelda, etc sounds very cool. Plus it sounds like the Wii will get more support than the Gamecube.DON'T PANICComment

If this console releases for $300 or less, it makes it a very tempting buy. I refuse to pay $500+ for a console and game, and I generally have not been big on Nintendo, admittedly thinking it was mostly a kid system, but if the price is reasonable and they intend to increase their sports gaming representation, then I may strongly consider it.Enjoy football? If it is under $300 (with not too many extras you have to buy) and has some sports titles and a few action titles, I will definately buy it and put 360 on hold. (have no intensions on getting PS3)Comment
