Well, I didn't have much money. I needed gas money to get back to college, money to buy groceries, and I had just been off of work for a month due to knee surgery. And right now I don't even have $10 to my name.

So I'm not the only video game nerd reading the book. I was lucky and found it in my public library. Read the first 2 chapters yesterday and its good so far.

I found it at Borders. My store had it under the Sci-Fi series section instead of general Sci-Fi. It seems pretty good so far. IMO it has a feel of a mix between Babylon 5 and Star Trek. .....I don't think I have ever written a nerdier sentence in my life.

Microsoft Game Studios and BioWare Corp. announced today that the highly anticipated action role-playing game (RPG) “Mass Effect” has gone gold, and will be offered in a limited collector’s edition. Additionally, an exclusive bonus disc will be offered to consumers who pre-order the game. The bonus disc is available at participating U.S. retailers while supplies last.

This is going to be the first game I've ever preordered. I'm probably going to buy the Limited Edition, which says how much I'm anticipating this game. The only other limited edition I've gotten was for Jade Empire.

I'm with you on this one Jmood. The only limited editions games I have ever purchased were both discounted (Jade Empire and Two Worlds). I think I am going to preorder the Limited Edition of this one at full price.

I haven't been paying much attention to this game and I am glad, cause now its only a month away and wow does it look amazing. This will be a blast to play.

I'm considering pre ordering just for the book alone...if I'm gonna end up really into the game/story I think I might actually read it.

Yeah and the Legendary edition really looks worth it for all the stuff you get and for only $10 more.

Totally agree, the way they are putting together this edition should be noted by every single game company out there. It would be silly to NOT get this edition.
