October: Half-Life 2: The Orange Box

November: Mass Effect


Thats nice distribution of AAA non sports titles. Now if you don't care about the other games, well then I see your point.

There's a lot of hype, and it's got me a little curious. However aren't these the same guys who made KOTOR and Jade Empire? I thought they both sucked *** from a gameplay perspective. Will this be different?

I don't know how in the world you could say that KOTOR or Jade Empire sucked.

I didn't think KOTOR was that good of a game either. Didn't even look at Jade Empire because of it.

This one looks a little different in that combat can be done real time plus there is a cover system.

I could understand KOTOR, maybe, since I hate turn based games(even though it wasn't completely turn based) but Jade Empire had a completely different fighting system.

Are you cerial? Didn't like either of them? I didn't think that was possible! They are like polar opposites in terms of RPG gameplay. Usually if someone hates turn based they like jade empire or if they hate real time action they like KOTOR. Oh well, different strokes I guess. If you really didn't like either maybe you wont like Mass Effect...but it looks like an amazing game. I can't wait for it

It is a little different, but make no mistake this is an RPG, not a R:6 like shooter.


I loved both KOTOR's, but thought Jade Empire was very disappointing. I'm glad they stopped at one.
