Re: Buying a 360, what should I look out for?
I really hadn't heard too much about burnout, but I figured I could sell the game and help pay for the 360 that way and madden. But madden is pretty bad and I am very dissappointed in the game and I am thinking of selling it on ebay because of the fact it just plain sucks. I also bought GRAW and Battlefield on ebay for 45 each including shipping, so I figure those games can hold me over until NCAA comes out.
The Table Tennis game looks pretty good and I saw that Fry's has it listed at 29.99 when it comes out on Tuesday, so I will wait and see what people have to say about it before I get it, but at that price it seems like a good pickup.
What is so great about Burnout?Comment

Re: Buying a 360, what should I look out for?
I am also interested in getting a 360. Can someone tell me, since the core doesnt come with a HDD, can I just attach any old HDD and have it work the same? I'm just gonna be using it to play sports games with my buddies at college, so I dont need the whole premium package thing... all I want is the 360, with online capabilities (just for roster downloads and stuff, not to play online much) and an HDD. I dont even really care about wireless controllers to be honest. Oh, and also DVD playback... so do I need the remote for that?

Re: Buying a 360, what should I look out for?
I'm looking at getting one as well..a few questions:
What is the best way (device) to keep the wireless controllers charged?
What are your top three games?
If I get a premium, do I also have to get a device to download rosters? If so, which one?Comment

Re: Buying a 360, what should I look out for?
Everybody says that the play and charge is the best way to go for charging your controllers. I don't have one, but I am saving up to get one and an extra controller.
As for games, Oblivion and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare are the highest rated games, as well as the most popular. From the early reviews, Table Tennis by Rockstar (GTA makers) seems like it should be a fun game to play with friends and online.
The transfer device is by Datel and there is a link about it on the top of the forum as a sticky.Comment

2. Ghost Recon, college hoops and table tennis are my top 3 right now, with tomb raider a close 4th. Oblivion is a great game if you are into RPG's, but its not my kind of game.
3. Yeah, you'll need something to download rosters no matter which version you get. For games like MLB 2k6 and NBA 2k6, you can just download the official rosters online via xbox live, but for games like College hoops and the upcoming NCAA football, you'll need the Datel Transfer Kit to get the named rosters like the ones here at OS.PS4: aBayBates

Re: Buying a 360, what should I look out for?
Hey guys how does that work? I've tried charging my controller while playing and using the 360.
When I turn off my 360 it continues to charge but only for a few minutes then the charge light goes out. What am I doing wrong?
p.s. I'm using the 360's front USB port.Comment

Re: Buying a 360, what should I look out for?
People with PC background can work miracles with this box. The previous Xbox allowed for extrenal HDD, and so will the X360, if not now with time definetely. You don't need to buy the standards HDDs.Comment
