Resistance will be the "killer app" at least thats the best one Ive heard confirmed at launch. To my understanding, SEVERAL other games will be available within 3-4 months after launch that would be great games.

Just like the 360.

I wasn't getting one at launch anyway. Though if I had been having Heavenly Sword delayed would've convinced me to wait.

Only game that I saw which was impressive imo is "Resistance". "Heavenly Sword" looks nice, but Microsoft's answer to that is "Ninety-Nine Nights". With Gears of War coming in the fall, it kills any interest in the PS3 for some people.

I was under the impression that the thread was about the games available at launch, what does a list of games in development for PS3 have to do with that? How many are actually launch titles, vs. 2007 projected releases?

Thats's an impressive list. Hey BB, where did you get that? Does it indicate which titles are exclusive (besides the obvious Sony titles) and do you have or know where a similar 360 can be found?

No, not the shortage of consoles, but the shortage of games.

So what games WILL be available at launch? I know I'll have NBA 2K7 and Warhawk. Are they going to port Fight Night over and have it available at launch?

Smackdown vs Raw 2007
Lair Order


That is all that I can think of right now. That may be all of them but I keep thinking there are one or two more games that I can't remember at this point. Now, its not guaranteed that these games will be launch titles, they just have dates ranging from Nov 1st to Nov. 15th.

All of those are almost guarantee's but Assassin's Creed, that's summer of 2007
