At $37.95, these are a steal. I've read on some HD ites tht you get a better overall picture quality with these than the MS brand that came with premium.

I just ordered a set from Amazon who had them the cheapest for $20 w/shipping since I had a $25 gift certificate.Comment

EG, Have you had any kind of distortion with the Pelican Component Switch box?
I get some distortion when I first start watching TV off of my DVR and then it goes away. There has to be some cables that are causing this issue.Comment

Re: Monster GameLink 360 Component Video
Originally posted by candyman56I bet it's those Comcast component cables that are hooked up to my DVR, their shielding royally sucks. I only have my 360, DVD Player, and DVR hooked up to that box. My DVD Player has Monster Cables, so it comes down to the 360 and DVR cables and I think it might be the DVR cables.

I've read enough comparisons that have proved to me that Monster is nothing more than a name, so I don't buy them.Comment

in my so called gaming room lol i just have a panasonic 26inch widescreen HDTV. the size of the room is small so the TV to me looks around 30 to 32 inches. i only have 2 component slots in back of tv and like 4 vid and 2 s-vid slots as well. i most def need a component selector, is that what you two are talking about? if so could ya link me to that as well lol sorry.
i also just ordered an HDMI cable from www.monoprice.com for like 7 bucks lol we carry the same cable at work for around 100 bucks. i got that for my panasonic HD upconvert dvd player. i still have not bit the bullet yet for the HD direct tv hd/tivo box yet.Twitch

Re: Monster GameLink 360 Component Video
EG, you can see & hear a difference with the Monster 360 cables.. It has nothing with "Your eyes/ears playing tricks" I have the Monster 360 Component Cables & noticed a difference in both Audio & Video when I changed cables..
Enough a change, that I'm very happy I made the switch... BTW Candy I hoope you realize those Cables do-not come with an optical option & you will have to purchase the Optical Cable seperately in order to get DIGITAL Surround Sound from a reciever if you use 1.Last edited by bigfnjoe96; 05-26-2006, 10:35 AM.Comment
