I think I may have the same problem but I'd describe the light on the power supply as more of an orange color. I thought that was normal cause it always did this but my 360 has never kept its time and date and I remember the original XBOX would lose its time and date when unplugged for several hours.

Anyone know if that might be a problem?

Also, did you have to send the old ower supply back before getting the new one?

Orange is fine thats how the new one MS sent is(when system is off) should be green when you turn system on.As far as the old power supply you wait till you get the new one and than you put the old one back in the same box the new one shipped in and you will also find a shipping lable, tape and the phone# for UPS to schedule a pickup for the old power supply

Anybody else who's not connected to XBL have their 360 not keeping date and time? It always resets like my old XBOX would when unplugged for hours.

I have a launch 360 and it works, but there are no games to play on it. I don't think I've turned it on for about 6 weeks. The games library is horrendous, IMO. I wish I would have waited. I have played my PS2 more in the last 2 weeks than I have ever played my 360.

I wansn't playing mine for a bit either, but latley I have been playing the crap out of NBA2k.

Well 8 months later my launch 360 is still running great, I hope I don't jinx myself.....LOL...Who else has a launch 360 still running strong.

I bought it on launch and it's still running like a champ knock on wood.

Mine's working fine.

NBA2K6 is the only game that freezes, but that's because it sucks and is glitchy.
