I know someone who works at ubisoft montreal and he told me that it was running on a 360 at e3. Also, it will be available on the 360 for sure... He works on the project and its suppose to be an awesome game !

I'm guessing the "exclusivity" is only for early announcment and hype and that both systems are getting it at/around the same time.Comment

Originally posted by ErvOr Sony could of paid them for a time exclusive in the same way MS did with Splinter Cell. There's no other plausible reason for Ubisoft to keep the 360 version quiet, if they leak it they probably will breach the contract signed with Sony.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Not Exclusive to PS3?
I know that it might not be really worth all the hype that is but man I just got done reading the article in Game Informer. The type of stuff they're putting in this game is great. I never played Prince of Persia but I'm planning on scooping it up sometime soon. I heard how great that game was. The animations in that game were suppose to be about 800 while the one in Assassins Creed are about 4000 running at 60 fps. That's hot. I don't know if there's an official thread for this game but dang that's hot. They also have a pretty creative button configuration.
Left analog is movement, right analog is camera, the X button will be for the feet, the square will be for the arm movement with weapons, circle will be movement without the weapon, and the triangle will be for the head. Right shoulder buttons serve as shift key between low and high intensity actions I'm assuming. When you're moving through the crowd, you push them with the circle button and the shift key. To push them aggressively, you just push the circle button. And the NPCs in the game all have their own type of desires and goals in the game to make it feel more realistic. It's kind of like Oblivion where everyone has their own thing they want to do. The NPCs all have a different character too I think. Some might desire entertainment while others might be drawn to picking food from the various merchants to eat. Stuff like that is cool.
Man, there are so many things in this game. I'm just so curious to check it out. The way they pump up the storyline too makes you just want to experience the game and go through it. Those who haven't checked it out, ya'll might want to holler at the gameinformer.com site and see what you can read on there. Might need to get an unlimited account or not. Now these games are REALLY starting to look next-gen.......Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Not Exclusive to PS3?
Translation...
During the IDEF 2006, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin' s Creed was currently under development for Xbox 360 and PC, in more than one version besides the PlayStation 3 one already announced. The owners of Microsoft's console will be able to thus step into the shoes of Altair at the height of the Third Crusade. More information soon, especially concerning a possible temporary exclusiveness for Sony's future machine.Assassin's Creed confirmé sur 360. Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Not Exclusive to PS3?
Though the limited edition's gameplay content will be identical to that of the standard version, Assassin's Creed LE will boast a number of bonus supplemental content items. In addition to a specialized tin packaging, the game will also include a figurine of lead character Altair, Penny Arcade comics, a miniature strategy guide, and Assassin-themed short films. Behind-the-scenes videos, official trailers, developer diaries, producer interviews and other unnamed goodies are also planned.
I'm glad this game is still on track to come out later this year. I thought it was going to be pushed back until next year. I'm guessing this game is released early December.
This thread needs a name change to "Assassin's Creed".Comment
