I agree with your comments Altimus. I had a blast with the game, but I would like more stealth ability too. Drunks and beggers killed me on those 5 minute assassinations. I'd have 4 killed, be on the way to the 5th, and a drunk pushes me into a guard, setting off the alarm. I almost threw my controller.

I hope they can keep the running, fun climbing buildings, etc and still somehow add in a bit more stealth. The intel I gathered (I got it all) was kinda helpful, but it wasn't like you could totally stealth kill ever. I'm the type who followed the intel, cleared out my exit route, etc, but I just want a little more.

It's a great start, and the game looks amazing though. I trust Jade and the crew can keep it going strong.

I thought assassinating Sibrand had the best stealth feeling. I planned my approach around the boats and jump on the edge of the ship where he was making his speech. Popped up, stuck him with the blade and jumped down and went to the Bureua without anyone noticing me or chasing me. The alarm was still at red but it felt good getting away unnoticed.

Yep it is a great start though and I look forward to the continuation of this game.

I thought assassinating Sibrand had the best stealth feeling. I planned my approach around the boats and jump on the edge of the ship where he was making his speech. Popped up, stuck him with the blade and jumped down and went to the Bureua without anyone noticing me or chasing me. The alarm was still at red but it felt good getting away unnoticed.

Yep it is a great start though and I look forward to the continuation of this game.

I forget the guy, but there was one where I could climb up the outside wooden things to get up the wall. Quietly take out every soldier on my exit route (on the top of the wall), and then get a quick kill at a guy in a fortress. I set off the alarm but no one was even close to following me, because I cleared out my exit route. Most of the time I didn't feel that in control, and it was just "run up to guy in crowd, kill him, have to fight guys" or whatever.

I'd like assassinations to feel a bit more special and stealthy, doesn't have to be a ton, they are sometimes close, but just an improvement would be nice.

I believe you're talking about the William guy? I was able to get to him without any notice but about 10 guards ran in right away after the cut scene. Not sure why it happened. I didn't kill all the guards, but I killed all the guards up top in that area.

It's been a while...I think it was William, I was able to get back up the ladder and run away way before they could catch up. Most of the time I'd end up in a big pile of guards after a kill, or chasing the mark through a crowd (that sucks)...

I'd rather have the Assassination attempt be more stealthy and actually fail (and die) if you don't hit it right the first time, but that might be too daunting for some.

I just remember the Thieves Guild in Oblivion and remember how cool some of those sneaking stuff was, along with the Assassins Guild...

That is why if something got messed up and the guards were altered I would just let them kill me instead of killing the target in a all out Royal Rumble. Unfortunately there is no way to reload the last checkpoint so that was the only way.

I was surprised when I killed sibrand because it just looked like another guard and there was no one around him. I did have to fight my way out when I got back to the dock though.

I just got it today.

I like this game a lot so far. Maybe I'm just impatient or it'd be for my own good but I'm annoyed to not be able to skip cut scenes. Interesting game though, very fresh from constant sports, lol.

Take your time with AC, or else you will be disappointed if you try to rush through it.

I highly recommend this title, I'm about halfway through and I feel like I have spent about 15 hours so far.

It is worth it, there is a lot of items to obtain even after you are done with the game. But I would rent it first.

Fun game. The ending is pretty anti-climactic though. Which sucks
