I have a question about a couple of the achievements.

1) Where are there 25 guards to fight at once?
2) Exactly how do you get the Disciple of the Creed ach?

1) You need to run around for a while and let a bunch chase you. Then fight some, then run to collect more guards, but make sure you don't get too far away or you will lose the fight and go to yellow.

2) You have to do all the side tasks before each assassination.

That worked best for me in the main land... forget the name. Since there was a patrol unit near by, they always came with more guards.

Best to leave two alive before getting more guards as leaving one sometimes make the last guard scared and he runs away and alert goes to yellow.

Yeah, I actually got both achievements right after I posted my questions. I went to the big camp with the circle pit outside of Acre and basically killed the entire camp to get the 25 guard kills in a single fight. I'm not sure how I got the 10 minute of open conflict, though, since I know I wasn't fighting them all for 10 minutes.

Did anybody play this through a second time? I beat it last year and really enjoyed it. I've been seeing it around for like 15 bucks and was thinking of picking it up again... though I do remember it got a little repetitive. Just wondering if anyone had a good experience with this a second time through.

Just went through it once. The ending was so disappointing I couldn't do that to myself again.

It was a great experience.. but the ending wasn't worth the trip.

I guess without going into too much detail it's ambiguous nature. Tie up something about the game we just paid $60 for and spent whatever number of hours into.

I can't remember exactly what happened, but I remember it was one of those endings that really left you hanging.. but in a good way. I just remember thinking, "man! I wan't assasin's creed 2 to be out now"! They left alot of things up in the air, but I think the ending really set the makers of the game up for a potentially great sequel.

true, it was ambiguous, but I thought there was some cool symbolism and it sets you up for #2.

I understand that. It probably did its job because I want to play the sequel but they didn't give the user ANY resolution... on anything, IMO. That's pretty bad in my eyes.

Pared, its supposed to be a trilogy so why would they resolve anything in the first one? Second one should clear most stuff up but also bring on new things for the third one...

I know it's supposed to be a trilogy. Everyone learns that after the fact though.

You think I was the only person who bought the game and was upset there was no resolution to anything at the end? C'mon man... the game didn't even throw you a bone. It ended with raising questions on top of questions and left you letting out a big huge "WTH?"

I found this game to be incredibly repititive. I couldn't sit there and play it for too long. I ended up doing the same thing for every assassination:

Travel to town. Climb up and leap from every high spot. Go and do every blip thats on the map (pick pocket, save citizen, mug speaker, etc). Then once I finish all that, assassination time.

The assassinations is where the only variety would come from. Obviously the highlight of the game.

Now I don't know if it's like this because I hadn't finished the game yet. As I think the last assassination I did was the guy sitting at a table inside this closed off area and to kill him, I jumped on him from a ledge that was above the table (Lol. Don't remember his name or what he did. But i believe he was after the fat guy who somehow has blazing speed.)

Didn't know if it picks up after that. Or if more variety comes later in the game or what.

I can't believe you even did all that for each mission... I pretty much would just pick-pocket someone, then go kill the bad guy...

I did the same thing, it was fun but repetitive.

I didn't get all the flags or anything, but I got 735ish of the 1k achievement points, so I did a lot.

My personal hope is that they add some more stealth aspects. While I could follow the very basic intel and whatnot, the game was kinda limited in completing missions stealthily. A lot would end up being you in a crowd of bad guys. There was one where I could take out guards one by one to help, but it would be nice if there were different ways to play (more stealth or more run in there).
