ok....man sony has taken lots of blows and things may be looking grim for them

As much as we think that the Grim Reaper is coming for Sony, I doubt that they will just go away this gen from gaming. They will somehow bounce back with the deceptive marketing.

Capcom 360 Titles Not Going to the PS3

We get some of theirs, but they don't get ours - Christian Svensson from Capcom has said that Dead Rising and Lost Planet won't be going to the PS3 or Wii.

Recently Capcom said they were "committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible" and so it would seem with Devil May Cry 4 making the jump from the Playstation to the Xbox 360. However someone then asked in the official Capcom forums whether gamers could now expect Lost Planet or Dead Rising, Capcom's most successful 360 titles thus far, to go to the PS3 or Nintendo Wii. He replied as follows:

"The answer is Dead Rising and Lost Planet are not slated to appear on Wii or PS3 as far as current plans go. The reasons for this are quite convoluted and I'm bound by NDAs on these matters so I can't divulge why this is the situation.

The quote delivered above references our strategy moving forward, not something that is necessarily retroactive. You can see evidence of this with our previously stated RE5 plans going to 360 and PS3 simultaneously."

As Svensson said, we can only look forward to the future and see what happens. Still, admist the DMC fallout, this is a little amusing.

I think some of you guys are forgetting that MS is STILL in talks with Capcom to buy them, and this may be an indication that it's getting closer to reality. If you look closely at the recent history of Capcom's moves, you will see that something is up.

Well that sux fors Sony where I'm concerned because DMC4 was one of the main reasons I was going to grab a PS3 this year for sure(along with Metal Gear Solid of course). Now that DMC is coming to 360 I can hold off buying one for another year or so. First party titles and exclusive third party developer contracts were the main reason for Sony's success obviously. I am still planning on getting one though just not in the forseeable future.

I wonder how big of an impact that this would have on the industry with Capcom becoming exclusive to MS. I think that I would prefer MS going after Take Two/2KSports as if EA gets them, we are screwed as sports gamers.

Isn't FFXIII talking about comming to 360

they can play both sides. Make sony pay up to keep them, or turn to MS to turn up the heat on a exclusive offer.

You got that right......I dont usually play sport games but I always perfered 2k games over EA......the only exception would be baseball.
