Vince you make a good point.

I think that this guy never intended to collect all this crap, he just bought and bought over the years and never sold anything. It just accumulated over time. Like a packrat.

My office at home is loaded with boxes of wrestling mags, comic books, DVD's., Games, and Videogame mags. I do hope that slowly that I could sell off most of that stuff. It gets to be a clutter.

I used to do the same thing with wrestling & videogame magazines, comic books, and DVD's. At one point I had 1,000's of wrestling magazines (PWI & WWF). I was alble to sell my WWF collection on ebay a few years ago for good money by selling each mag individually. There is a market for this kind of stuff that people collect.

When I do find some time, I'm going to try and offload my PWI collection on ebay. I have all the issues from 1989-1994. I got to a point a few years ago where it wasn't worth buying the mag anymore especially with their prices going up on a single issue + we have the net to read wrestling related articles.

Even my DVD collection was over 300+ at the beginning of the year, but I have learned to scale back and not buy as many DVD's + I started to clean house on those to and get rid of a few that we haven't watched in ages.

Where do you go with all this stuff sometimes?

Always remember, one man's junk is another's treasure.

I agree. Some people are way too obsessive. I mean how could he play all of those games? Obviously he can't. He is just trying to buy every video game and system ever made. Many of them are pretty bad. What is the point of having every game and system? To each is own I guess.

I'm not defending the guy, but he probably bought all that crap as it released over the years. He never traded stuff in or sold it, so yes he probably did play that stuff at one time or another.

Trying to play all that stuff now would be crazy.

Exactly. I buy to enjoy the cigar. The band is the leftover, the byproduct, which I save.

I have no problem with collections if the product is used, such as beer cans or bottles. But I don't understand the people who buy video games or Star Wars figures, for example, and never use them or open them. That makes no sense to me.

Come on. There is no way that a guy who has a collection this big bought ALL of this stuff with the intention of using it.

I'll buy that for a smaller collection of something. But this collection is so large, so complete, that the guy MUST be buying just to round out the collection.

I'd love to know how much of the stuff is unopened. He bought that for the collection, not to use it.

                      LOL!

Yeah, he may have gotten to the point where he buys everything to add to the collection. I think this is a bit overboard also, but I guess different strokes for different folks.

You and I agree on this point. It really makes no sense. It's just a waste of money. If he actually does play all those games, good for him. That's a real collection.

That is a crazy collection...I have a bunch of games and such also but nothin compared to that, I do keep every game I buy tho and one day I will put all them in a collection to keep.

Just like I do with all my Baseball CArds I have bought over the years and the 1:64 Nascars I buy every year that I do not take out of the box at all, I have over 100 now and It is my #1 favorite Collection.
