I think that this guy never intended to collect all this crap, he just bought and bought over the years and never sold anything. It just accumulated over time. Like a packrat.
My office at home is loaded with boxes of wrestling mags, comic books, DVD's., Games, and Videogame mags. I do hope that slowly that I could sell off most of that stuff. It gets to be a clutter.
I used to do the same thing with wrestling & videogame magazines, comic books, and DVD's. At one point I had 1,000's of wrestling magazines (PWI & WWF). I was alble to sell my WWF collection on ebay a few years ago for good money by selling each mag individually. There is a market for this kind of stuff that people collect.
When I do find some time, I'm going to try and offload my PWI collection on ebay. I have all the issues from 1989-1994. I got to a point a few years ago where it wasn't worth buying the mag anymore especially with their prices going up on a single issue + we have the net to read wrestling related articles.
Even my DVD collection was over 300+ at the beginning of the year, but I have learned to scale back and not buy as many DVD's + I started to clean house on those to and get rid of a few that we haven't watched in ages.
Where do you go with all this stuff sometimes?
Always remember, one man's junk is another's treasure.
