I didn't realize they were selling that fast. Did you try Toys R Us? They usually have a great supply and the best prices as well.

      My local Wal-Mart has them.

The DS is the largest-selling videogame machine in America. It sold more than 900,000 units in November. The PS2 was second at around 700,000 units, I believe.

The race isn't even close, though. The DS rules videogame hardware sales in the U.S. right now.

I can see why. I bought one about six weeks ago, and it's fun as hell.

      Take care,

The Pink DS Lites are going for a lot less now, it's crazy how ebay prices fluctuates it's almost like the stock market. Right now the Pink DS's are going for between $117-$175 on average.

It's the UK DS Lites that are carrying the higher price tag...strange.

I just received Super Mario 64 DS and Clubhouse Games this week. For anyone that has a DS Lite, pick up Clubhouse Games. I never thought playing Chinese Checkers would be so fun (plus the other 41 games available on the cart).

Well the wife likes Elite Beat Agents. She also likes Yoshi's Island which she is hooked on now. She's getting Phoenix Wright: Justice for All on January 16th when it comes out. So many good and unique games for the DS.

Don't worry PK, over time I will make sure to pick up Meteos but she has enough games for now.

My wife hasn't put down Cooking Mama or Uno now in 3 days. She is playing both like crazy. Uno has no DS Lite features per say, it's just the A button, but she loves it.

If anyone had any doubts, you can put your mind at ease. The castlevanias' for the ds ( dawn of sorrow and portrait of ruin) have been the most addicting games i have played on the little handheld. To the point where i actually catch myself thinking about playing them at times.

I highly recommend these two gems.

With some extra money she got for Christmas, my daughter bought Cooking Mama. That is a fun little game! So is Nintendogs. I finally got around to playing it last night.

I was able to snab one on a local KB Toys today. They had 3 white ones left.

That had gotten 19 last night.

                            Good luck.

                              Re: DS Game Recommendations

So, last week, my wife is playing Elite Beat Agents on my black DS (she bought me one because she kept playing my white one and felt bad) because that already had the game in it. As she's going to put the headphones in, the DS slips out of her hands and falls face down on the hardwood floor. Picks it up...no cracks, no chips, nothing.....except now the bottom screen in white. Everything else works.

Needless to say, my DS is on a UPS truck somewhere right now getting fixed. Ugh.

On a side note: I got her Trauma Center for xmas...and she's LOVING it.

Would my wife like something like that? She likes the Mario/Yoshi platformers.

I forgot about Nintendogs as well. She likes that concept. Still have Meteos and Clubhouse Games on a potential list as well. Too many games!!

DBeth - my wife was totally addicted to Trauma Center but just wait for the frustrating operations to tick her off (my wife doesn't normally swear but ...).
