    Team XBOX= 8

    http://reviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/122...d-is-Yours/p1/

One reason why I like TeamXbox is that they go into great detail in their reviews, unlike some other sites.

The 720p support of Scarface: The World is Yours definitely smoothes things out which makes it look better than its competition. You’ll never confuse Scarface: The World is Yours with a good looking Xbox game such as Ninja Gaiden, but for its genre, Radical’s free-roamer isn’t too shabby. You’ll notice some nice lighting techniques, backgrounds that generally capture the flair and feel of Miami, and excellent character models. The Montana model- particularly the mo-cap work- is stellar, which truly aids Scarface: The World is Yours in hanging in there graphically. There are areas where the team looked like they may have run out of time, or couldn’t figure a way to stream all for this info without cutting a few corners (in Scarface: The World is Yours’s defense, there are no load times when popping into a building), but it’s nothing I can’t handle.

    The Bottom Line

I hope gamers don’t judge Scarface: The World is Yours on what they may have seen or heard in the past, as this title has come a long way since Radical was pimping it two E3’s ago.

I’d recommend giving Scarface: The World is Yours a chance in its completed form. From the story, to the combat situations, to the amazing cast, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another title that does a movie license (an extremely heralded movie) so much justice.

Pats on the back all around for Radical, but I do have one question to ask: Exactly why isn’t this an Xbox 360 title again?

probably the large budgets involved in making a new ame for the next gen consoles. I mean do 360 owners really enjoy playing games that are just slightly better looking than the same game on the xbox? You'd think ports would sell bad, thus making them basically worthless releases by the companies.

I'm guessing they could always consider doing it later...

I found that very neat at the end of the review that the reviewer questioned why wasn't this on teh 360.

My Review over at Next Level Gaming = 88/100 has posted.

          Overall
Radical Entertainment did a wonderful job not only keeping Scarface close to the source material, but also creating a sequel to a movie that was never going to see a sequel. I really hope that people do give Scarface a chance since it is a game based on a movie license and we know that these type of games never fair well, but Scarface take the movie license genre to the next level. My next question for Radical is that since this game was successful on the current generation systems, what are the chances of also receiving Xbox 360 and PS3 versions?

I just rented this from blockbuster and my gamefly rental is on the way. After only getting to meet Felix and Coco so far, I'm gonna 'keep it' when it arrives. This game is awesome and serves to quench my 'what ifs' about one of my favorite movies of all-time.

I'm at the part where you can go kill sosa now.

It was kinda cool building up your empire, but much like with GTA, once you get so much money, you kinda can't find enough to do with it. This game also doesn't seem to be as repeat playing friendly as some GTA's are.

I'd still give it a great recommendations now that I'm almost done with the game though. I like having your henchmen bring you stuff and how your reputation helps you in the world. Talking cops away and asking people for their cars is a nice minor tweak to the GTA formula.

I can seriously see this coming out for 360 sometime down the road. I've been hearing how it's doing great on the current generation.

I feel bad because I've been selling coke to dudes then killing them and getting my coke back plus whatever they had on 'em.

Yeah, it's really expensive paying that heat down. What's are the consequences for not doing so?

The gang in the area will be on your tail the entire time your on their turf, either on foot or by car. You can't conduct any deals on the street either in that turf since they want you dead.

I've been in that situation already and since dude wouldn't let me conduct any deals, I killed him. I'm probably gonna play it straight from here on out. My money's low ($4500) because I went nuts and bought 2 cars, a liquor cabinet and some other stuff when I needed to get my reputation up.

dude, I'm near the end and have like a billion dollars. Money is no object in this game once you get access to the sandman's plantation. I don't even mess with street drug dealers anymore. The 10k they give you for 100g is nothing later in the game.

As for gang heat, if you don't pay it down, gangs will routinely retaliate against you. They blew up my cars a few times and do drive bys on me. This makes the heat go down a little, but it's damn annoying.

I have this bad habit of trying to fight all of them alone and keep forgetting to get my balls up so I can go into my blind rage. I might start over and play it straight.
