Ugh, are we sure that EA Sports did'nt have a hand in making this game??? Selling it all stripped down of gadgets. Maybe we will have to purchase these gadgets thru the marketplace on a unit by unit basis before using them online

Kind of puts me in stall mode as far as buying the game if these items are not in multiplayer. I will stay tuned for what you guys find out.

That's what they did for the Godfather. Some of the weapon upgrades must be bought through the marketplace. But they are like level 4 guns and you don't really need them.

But this... come on! Taking out basic stuff for online play is just plain dumb. Unlockable or off the marketplace.

I still want to play the single player even if the multiplayer mode is garbage, but I'm not sure it's worth purchasing now.

The more I play it, the more it's growing on me. There's more balance than there was before, and it's challenging.

The Toys r US by me had it for 49.99 and i had a 10$ gift card so i got the game for 39.99

How is the difficulty of this game compared to the first Splinter Cell. I felt the first splinter cell was the hardest, which I like.

Let me know what you guys think of multiplayer..I get off in an hour and going to pick it up. Wonder why no one mentioned missing weapons like sticky cam etc in their reviews?

You'll get air foils, attachments to your pistol and rifle (modifiable SC-20K), and a slew of grenades and sticky bombs, gadgets, and mines. The funny thing is, depending on the way you play, you might just use your hands and occasionally a pistol. I played very leanly, using few weapons.
